We have been busy at the studio lately preparing for our spring collection 2010, collaborating with model Lauren Orrell, photographer David Collins from Black Box photography and make-up artist Tiffany Beckwith-Skinner. It was interesting finding the right location along with blending in the right elements to capture the right shot; mood, lighting, make up, accessories and garments.

From finding inspiration, creating and adapting an idea from toile to finish garment, everyone at the studio is hands on to keep the wheels turning. It’s been busy with opening our fourth store in Edward Street, designing our next range and everything else in between. Below is a snapshot of how we spend our days in the studio…
It’s been almost a week since we last posted an update, the studio has been crazy busy. We have been getting ready for our next year winter collection, designing, sampling and styling. Finally it’s all taking shape.
Our Winter 2010 photoshoot was done last Monday with our model Saori, which you may have seen and read a bit about in our previous post. She was stunning and even our own Kirri, who works in the studio did some modelling for the essence range.
While Trudy was taking the photos Masayo and the rest of the girls were quickly fixing all the final details for the clothes and accessories, stitching, sewing, pinning, cutting, you name it, they did it!
The outcome is an impressive 2010 dogstar and essence winter collection, one not to be missed.
