A sandal you can rearrange.
Soft leather crosses the instep in a series of narrow straps, each one anchored to a hook-and-loop surface that lets you shift them wherever you want them. Move them for a looser fit, a tighter one, or just a different look. A heel strap holds everything in place at the back.
Two leathers are used across the upper. Alb is a soft, full-grain calf with a natural pebbled surface, while waw is a firmer, smoother leather that holds the straps’ shape and gives the sandal its clean lines. The contrast between the two is subtle in black, but you feel it.
Underneath is trippen’s Stick sole, a lightweight rubber sole with a flat profile and a quiet tread, stitched to the upper rather than glued so it can be replaced.
The leather is vegetable-tanned calf from a Tuscan supplier, through-dyed and wax finished with a light pull-up effect, then tumbled for softness. Colour and texture vary from pair to pair as a result, and the leather deepens with wear and sunlight. It softens and gives a little as you break it in.
