Hane, the Japanese word for feather. A single black feather hangs within a hand-formed circle of recycled aluminium, suspended from a slim bar and caught mid-drift, as if it has just come to rest. Twists of wire wrap the base of the circle like something found and kept, giving the piece an organic, slightly undone edge.
Strung on a long stainless steel box chain, it falls low over the body, adding a quiet point of movement to clean, pared back layers. Handcrafted in Melbourne.
