A compact clasp-frame pouch for sweets, medicines, and other small essentials. The denim is Ibara Denim, woven in Ibara, Okayama— a famed cloth that develops character with wear. The contrast panel is Miito-ori from Mie, yarn-dyed with natural indigo for a beautifully clear blue; today it’s produced by only one workshop in Japan and is designated an Intangible Folk Cultural Property. Both textiles are finished together in Kyoto.
