The Komichi Wrap Dress draws quietly from the kimono — a deep crossover V neckline, wide panels of fabric folding across the body, the whole thing gathered and held at the waist by a long self-fabric tie. It wears with the ease of something thrown on and the presence of something considered.
Cut from a linen-cotton pinstripe, the fabric has natural texture and weight — substantial enough to hold the wrap silhouette cleanly, breathable enough to carry across seasons. The panels cross at the front with intention, the stripe shifting direction at each fold and creating a graphic meeting point at the neckline.
Internal ties secure the wrap beneath the outer sash, so the silhouette stays composed even as the wearer moves. The waist tie can be knotted loosely for a relaxed coat-like drape or pulled firm to define the body. Either way, the dress finds its shape.
Three-quarter sleeves with a clean cuff finish, large side pockets, and a long A-line hem complete a piece that is equally at ease worn open as an outer layer or closed as a standalone dress.
